Castillon-du-Gard is located 4 km from the Pont du Gard, from Remoulins, 9 km from the Gorges du Gardon, 16 km from Uzès, 26 km from Avignon and from Villeneuve-lès-Avignon

Perched atop a hill, Castillon du Gard is an ideal starting place from where to explore the Gard, especially Nîmes and Uzès, and of course the famous Pont du Gard. The village retains many remnants from its rich past – you can discover some of the walls of the old ramparts, the ancient watch tower, the cobbled streets, a windmill, a Romanesque chapel and the century-old olive trees on the main square.
Nature lovers can enjoy superb hikes through the Gorges du Gardon or, a bit further away, in the Cévennes or on Mont Ventoux.
